Teen stole debit card

A TEENAGER has admitted stealing a debit card.

Michael Connor, 19, of Broadfields, Chorley, also pleaded guilty to fraud by using the card to buy fuel and scratchcards ar a garage, plus food and drink at McDonalds.

Chorley magistrates placed him on a one-year community order.

He must also do 60 hours’ unpaid work within that time.

Connor must also pay £85 in court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

PRESTON: A man has admitted having indecent images of children.

Stephen Christoper Oram, 31, of Fishergate, Preston, pleaded guilty to four charges involving videos.

His case was committed to Preston Crown for sentence on July 12.

He was bailed with conditions.

PRESTON: A motorist has admitted dangerous driving.

Ronnie Richie, 25, of Marlfield Close, Ingol, also pleaded guilty to having no driving licence on St Mary’s Road, Deepdale, and possessing a Class C drug, diazepam.

His case was committed to Preston crown court for sentence.

PRESTON: A man has admitted being drunk and disorderly in a Tesco store.

Preston magistrates heard Albert John Hamill, 55, of Villiers Street in the city, committed the offence in the Longridge Road store. He was fined £40.

PRESTON: A homeless man has admitted shoplifting alcohol.

Jacek Drozdowski, 50, whose his address was given in acourt as care of a Preston homeless shelter, pleaded guilty to three charges of stealing vodka drinks and gin. He was placed on a community order, banning him from Fulwood Booths for six months, and must pay £50 costs.

PRESTON: A motorist has admitted drink driving and damaging a pelican crossing.

Louis Peter, 26, of Alder Road, Ribbleton, also pleaded guilty to failing to report the accident on Ringway to police in March.

Preston magistrates told him to do 170 hours’ unpaid work within the next 12 months.

PRESTON: An Ashton man has admitted possessing a kitchen knife.

Jason Ord, 39, of Halfpenny Place, was placed on a one-year community order and told to pay a £15 fine with £85 costs by Pres ton magistrates.

Shaun Westwell, 32, of Rookwood Avenue, Chorley, was sent to prison for 30 days for non-payment of a fine.

Paul Aspden, 38, of Cloverfield, Chorley, admitted careless driving and was fined £275 with £85 costs and £27 surcharge. He also got eight penalty points on his driving licence.

Amanda Wilson, 33, of Hollinshead Street, Chorley, admitted failing to comply with a community order and was given a 16-week jail sentence suspended for a year.

Josh Churchman, 24, of Banner Close, Eccleston, admitted failing to comply with a community order and was placed on a six-week curfew.

Jason Clark, 44, of Derby Road, Longridge, was convicted in his absence of fishing without a licence and was fined £220.

Lee Freeman, 24, of Loftos Avenue, Blackpool, admitted drink driving at Deepdale retail park in Preston in April. He must do 40 hours’ unpaid work and was banned from driving for 18 months.

Daniel John Dinning, 28, of no fixed abode,admitted using threatening, abusive or insultign words and was placed on a one-year community order with 80 hours’ unpaid work.

Jon Dwyer, 28, of Fox Street, Preston, admitted stealing perfurm worth £70 from Boots and must pay an £80 fine, £70 compensation, a £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Scott Gillard, 38, of Eaves Lane, Chorley, admitted attempting to steal monies from British Telecom and was placed on a two-monty curfew.

Donna Marie Grey, 36, of Isherwood Street, Preston, admitted stealing bacon and cheese from McColls and was fined £80 with £17 compensation.

Macaulay Wells, 18, of Dodney Drive, Lea, Preston, admitted drink driving and was fined £200 and banned from driving for a year.
