Fire crews tackle abandoned Range Rover blaze near Preston car dealerships

Fire crews were called to the scene on land between Admiral Way and Wall End Road - close to a number of car showrooms - at around 3.30pm.

Firefighters have deployed on foot after their fire engine struggled to reach the scene due to rough terrain.

Thick black plumes of smoke are visible across Preston Docks and the surrounding area as fire crews continue to work at the scene this afternoon.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were approached for further details.
