Of the nine incidents flagged up on Lancashire Road Police’s social media account this week, seven have involved positive roadside drug tests or possession of drugs.
Other incidents have focused on drivers without insurance and without a licence.

5. Sat on the floor of the van
This van pulled in front of unmarked police car on a roundabout so was stopped to have a chat with the driver. Things got worse when one of three passengers was found sat on the floor in the back with pots and paints, and the van had no business insurance. Photo: Lancs Police

7. Roundabout smash
The driver of this vehicle tried to leave the scene after crashing on a roundabout in Blackpool. Unfortunately for him, police officers were passing and detained him. He was found to be over the drink drive limit, uninsured and in possession of drugs. Photo: Lancs Police
