Police executed a drugs raid at an address in the Plungington area of Preston this morning (June 26), assisted by PD Daisy from the Lancashire Police Dog Unit.

A small amount of controlled drugs were seized, as well as an off-road scrambler bike which had been identified by residents as causing anti-social behaviour in the area.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "This morning, officers from Preston Neighbourhood Task Force, assisted by PD Daisy from Lancashire Police Dog Unit executed a warrant in the Plungington area of Preston, under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

"Lancashire Constabulary and your Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to act on intelligence provided to disrupt criminality in Preston.

"This search was as a direct result of information given by the community, so thank you."
