Foley, who has links to Blackpool and is from Fulwood, was described as white, 5ft7, with brown eyes, short dark brown hair, and a dark beard with grey.

PC Paul Moseley said: “We need to find Foley urgently and I would encourage anyone who has information on his whereabouts to contact police as soon as they can.

“If the public sees Foley in the street, I would urge them not to approach him but instead to call 999, stating where they have seen him and what he was wearing.”
