The pooch was left minding a car when it’s driver made off from officers in Morecambe, and was later arrested for drink-driving.
The team have also been kept busy with drink and drug-drivers, people with no licence, stolen cars, cloned cars and people causing affray.

5. Red light

6. Wrong way
This Mercedes went the wrong way around two roundabouts and then the wrong way on the A583 dual carriageway in Kirkham. Police stopped the vehicle to prevent danger to the public. It transpired that the car had been stolen from Manchester city centre. Five people were arrested. Photo: Lancs Police
7. Cannabis
This Mercedes was stopped on the M6 at Preston. The driver admitted to using cannabis and were arrested after testing positive for it on a roadside test. Photo: Lancs Police
8. Party on the Pier
The driver of this car performed an illegal u-turn in front of police patrols. When it was stopped, officers found four adults in the car en route to Blackpool to watch Party on the Pier. They were left without a car when it was seized for having no insurance and the driver having no licence. An officer said: "They're now walking to the ‘party on the pier’ from the wrong end of the M55." Photo: Lancs Police
