Crack cocaine and heroin discovered after Pendle drugs bust - one man charged
Police found a "substantial amount" of crack cocaine and heroin at over £2,000 street value after a drugs raid at an address in Canal Mews, Nelson.
Officers from the Pendle Taskforce, neighbourhood police team and with support from the dog unit executed the warrant yesterday (Thursday) and two men were arrested.
A spokesman for Nelson, Brierfield and Barrowford Police said: "Officers have worked tirelessly throughout the day and evening conducting enquiries and interviewing.
"The crown prosecution have since been consulted and James Norwood age 51 has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin and will be remanded in custody.
“We urge the community to report drug dealing as this type of crime can ruin lives, fuel other crime, such as violence and disorders and can instill fear in our neighbourhoods. We are determined to tackle this by working with the community”
