Chorley police issue warning after attempted burglary
Police in Chorley are now appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
Police in Chorley have issued a warning after an alleged attempted burglary in Pike Lowe, Brinscall.

The incident was said to have happened between 11:30pm and 11:45pm on October 13, after a shirtless man allegedly attempted to enter a house.
He was last seen at the end of Sandy Lane at 11:45pm that night.
He was described as a white male in his early 20s, with short, dark hair; a slim build; black tracksuit trousers and trainers; and no shirt.
Officers found no trace of the suspect after attending the house, and have finished interviewing neighbours.
They have seized CCTV from the home, and are now appealing for anyone in the area who may also have CCTV or dashcam footage from around the area.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Officer Fern at [email protected], or contact police directly on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
Officers said: “We have a family that needs answers, the way they have been made to feel in their place of safety, their own home cannot be accepted and will not be tolerated.
“Brinscall is a beautiful area, if we continue to work together we will keep Brinscall a safe place to work and live.”
