Chorley man, 52, charged with string of offences including indecent assault on a girl under 14

A 52-year-old man from Chorley has been charged with a string of offences including indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years.

Mark Smith, of Heald Street in Chorley, appeared at Preston Magistrates Court on Wednesday, charged with the following offences:

1 - Indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years.

2 - Indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years.

3 - Indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years.

4 - Indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years.

5 - Incite a girl under fourteen years of age to commit an act of gross indecency.

The offences allegedly took place between 1991-92.

He was granted unconditional bail until his next court appearance in June.
