The sentencing of Carol Gibbons was adjourned again because the probation service cannot find her a stable address until she is released from custody - but Judge Richard Gioserano is concerned at suspending her sentence without knowing she has an appropriate address to go to.

Gibbons, 41, of Briary Court, Clayton Brook, Chorley, is currently on remand at HMP Styal. having previously pleaded guilty to five counts of conveying articles into a prison.

She says she was under duress from others when she tried to visit her son in a Doncaster jail with a cling film wrapped package down her trousers containing two mobile phones, heroin, cannabis bush and eight tablets of Alprazolam.
