Peter Gerald Matthews, 42, of Nightingale Way, Chorley, was fined £583 by Chorley magistrates for two counts of driving without insurance. He was also charged with driving at a speed exceeding the legal 30mph. He had to pay £58 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points. The offences happened May 27, June 1 and July 15.

Michael Catterall, 46, of Mendip Road, of Leyland, was fined £40 by Chorley magistrates for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 30mph. He had to pay £30 court costs and £30 victim surcharge. The offence happened in Shepherds Way, Chorley, on June 10. His record was endorsed with three points.

Gemma Dornan, 34, of Lyons Lane, Chorley, was fined £770 by Chorley magistrates for driving without due care and attention. She was also charged with driving without a valid licence and insurance and for failing to ensure her tyres were the correct tread depth. She had to pay £77 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Her driving record was also endorsed. The offence happened in Rivington Road, Belmont, on May 14.

Paul Lynden Maddock, 27, of Milton Road, Coppull, was fined £80 by Chorley magistrates for driving without valid insurance. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and his driving record was endorsed with six points. The offence happened in Coppull Moor Road on July 5.
