CCTV appeal after boy attacked in toilets of Lancashire Sainsbury's store


A boy reported he had been assaulted in a toilet cubicle at Sainsbury’s in Burnley on Sunday, November 25.
A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident, but now police have released CCTV of a man they want to talk to as a witness.

Hide AdFollowing enquiries, officers believe the pictured man was in the area around the time of the report and may be able to assist with our enquiries.
DC Natasha Bennett said: “I would like to stress that the man is potentially a witness, not a suspect. He may have some information that could help with our investigation and we need to speak to him.
“If you recognise him, or believe you are the man, please let us know.”
A man has been charged in connection with the investigation.

Hide AdDennis Walsh, 39, of Albert Street, Burnley has been charged with sexual assault on a child under 13, false imprisonment and breach of a sexual harm prevention order. He has been remanded in custody.
