Cannabis farm with 200 plants discovered by police in Preston raid

200 plants and growing equipment were discovered by police during a drugs raid at a property in Preston.

Police executed a drugs warrant at an address on Thornfield Avenue in Preston today (April 1) after receiving "community info".

Officers found approximately 200 cannabis plants, along with equipment used for cannabis production, during the raid.

Photos from the scene show rows of plants under artificial lights as well as ventilation systems and wires.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Preston Neighbourhood Team today executed a warrant after community info received over drugs from an address on Thornfield Avenue, Preston.

"Approx. 200 cannabis plants with equipment seized and will no longer find there way to the streets."

It is not known if any arrests were made during the raid.
