Burnley double murder accused pleads not guilty
A man accused of murdering a Burnley doctor and her daughter has denied the charge.

Shabaz Khan (51) of Ribble Avenue, Burnley, pleaded not guilty this morning via video link at Preston Crown Court to the murders of Saman Mir Sacharvi (49) and her 14-year-old daughter Vian Mangrio.
Dr Sacharvi, a junior doctor with Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, and her daughter were found dead in their smoke and fire-damaged house in Reedley on October 1st.
A date for the trial has now been set for June 9th.
