Burglar jailed after social media appeal
A man who was the subject of a police social media appeal has been jailed for burglary.
Preston Police shared images of Leroy Allen, 31, on Twitter in a bid to catch him after several burglaries in the Fishwick and St Matthews area of Preston.
Allen, of Ribbleton, Preston, was arrested in February following a rooftop stand-off with a man in Marl Hill Crescent.
He was wanted in connection with several burglaries, an assault and breaching the terms of his prison licence.
He has now been back before the courts, where he received a 34-month jail term.
