Body found next to road in Clayton Brook

Paramedics were called to the scene in Clayton Brook Road at 6.36am after a man was found unresponsive on the pavement.
Despite their best efforts, the man, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His death was then reported to police.

Hide AdOfficers attended at 7am and a white tent was put in place next to the road whilst they sought to establish the cause of death.
The investigation lasted a number of hours before it was concluded that his death was not deemed suspicious.
A police spokesman said: "We were called at 7.01am today (February 2) to reports a man in his 50s had been found unresponsive in Clayton Brook Road, Bamber Bridge.
"Paramedics attended and sadly the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Hide Ad"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed onto HM Coroner in due course."
An ambulance spokesman added: "We got a call at 6.36am and attended with an ambulance. We haven’t taken anyone to hospital. It is being handled by police."
