Terry raped the woman at an address in the Ashton area of Preston, and a second time at a house party in August 2018, in which he allegedly trapped her in a bedroom.

Giving evidence by video link during the case, the young woman said Terry had tried to convince her she had ‘imagined it’ when she confronted him, and that she “didn’t think anyone would believe me” if she had have called for help at the party.
