Two men walked into Sainsbury's in Lancaster Road, Morecambe and contaminated food by smearing their hands over it on Saturday, April 4.
The pair shocked customers when they made a show of licking their hands and wiping them over meat, fresh produce and fridge handles at around 1.45pm.
Staff were forced to destroy hundreds of pounds worth of produce and the store had to be thoroughly disinfected as a result of their actions.
