Crash causes motorway delays
Friday night traffic on the M6 around Preston has been brought to a halt after a crash involving a car and a van.
Emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway between junctions 29 and 31 just after 5.30pm.
Two lanes of four have been closed while recovery work takes place.
Long queues have built up in the area, stretching back to the M61 interchange.
