Concern grows for missing woman, 43, last seen in Rossendale

An urgent appeal has been launched to help find a missing woman who was last seen in Rossendale.

Julia Maynard was last seen in the Newchurch Road area at around 11am on Tuesday, April 13.

The 43-year-old is described as black, of large build, with black, curly and thin hair.

She was wearing a black skirt, a white t-shirt with flowers, a mustard-coloured cardigan and black boots.

Julia has links to Rossendale and the Wythenshawe and Rusholme areas of Manchester. .

"Police are concerned for her welfare and would urge anyone who has seen her or a woman matching her description to come forward with information," a spokesman said.

Anyone with information has been urged to contact police by calling 101.
