Michael Jackson, 34, of Hunters Road, Leyland, was fined £408 by Chorley magistrates for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 30mph. He also had to pay £40 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with four points. The offence happened on the A6 London Road, Preston, on May 5.

David Wilkinson, 30, The Elms, Clayton-Le-Woods, was given a conditional discharge by Chorley magistrates for 12 months for causing criminal damage to a window. He also had to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. The offence happened on July 22.

Gemma Louise Rogers, 26, of Brook Close, Leyland, was given a conditional discharge by Chorley magistrates for two counts of possessing cannabis. She also had to pay £200 court costs and £20 victim surcharge. The offences happened on December 12 2016 and January 23 2017.

Elaine Karen Heap, 51, of Cordwainers Court, Buckshaw Village, was given a conditional discharge for 24 months by Preston magistrates for being drunk and disorderly in public. She also had to pay £20 victim surcharge. The offence happened in Main Square, Buckshaw Village, on November 7.

Chene Ferguson, 33, of Northgate Drive, Chorley, was fined £300 for driving without valid insurance and driving whilst using a mobile phone. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £100 court costs. His driving record was also endorsed with six points. The offence happened on the M61 South on May 22.

Maria Atherton, 53, of Holland House Way, Buckshaw Village, was fined £450 for failing to give information about a driving offence. She also had to pay £45 victim surcharge and £100 court costs, Her record was endorsed with six points. The offence happened on May 1.
