Aaron James Worthington, 21, of Bow Wood Close, Chorley, was given a conditional discharge for 12 months for destroying a window to the door of Stonham House. The value was £100. Chorley magistrates also ordered him to pay £100 compensation and £150 court costs. The offence happened on March 19 last year.

Matthew Anthony Rigby, 39, of Ayrshire Close, Buckshaw Village, was given a conditional discharge for 12 months for damaging a mobile phone belonging to Rebecca Haddon. Chorley magistrates also ordered him to pay £20 victim surcharge and £150 court costs. The offence happened on December 13 last year.

Kevin Andrew Nash, 33, of Windsor Close, Chorley, was fined £253 for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol when he appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. The offence happened in Dawson Lane, Whittle-le-Woods, on January 25.

Lynne Valentine, 58, of Bagganley Lane, Chorley, was given a nine-month community order for stealing alcohol and a block of cheese from two supermarkets.

She stole two bottles of vodka and a bottle of Baileys to the value of £39.77, belonging to B&M bargains on January 25, and vodka, brandy, rum and cheese, worth £48.75 from Morrisons on January 26. Chorley magistrates also ordered her to pay £39.77 compensation and £45.23 victim surcharge.

Scott Hamer, 35, of Spendmore Lane, Chorley, was fined £610 at Chorley Magistrates’ Court for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He also had to pay £61 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.
