Car flips after hitting lamp post
FOUR people escaped with minor injuries when the car they were travelling in overturned after hitting a lamp post.
Emergency services were called at 1.30pm to a black and silver Renault Clio on its roof near the entrance to UCLan sports area in Cottam, off Tom Benson Way.
Officers said only minor injuries were reported.
The road was closed temporarily while the car was recovered and repairs were made to the lamp post.
