Car blaze at Brindle
A road in Brindle, near Leyland, was closed for a time on Saturday evening while fire crews dealt with a car blaze.
A fire engine and crew from Chorley were called out to the incident at the roadside on Birchin Lane.
They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is still to be established.
There were no casualties.
