Cannabis farm with 500 plants worth around £400,000 discovered at Preston property
A large cannabis farm worth approximately £400k was discovered at a property in Preston.
Police were called to a house on Maitland Street in the Fishwick area at around 11.25am on Monday, December 15.
Officers who entered the property found around 500 cannabis plants growing across four rooms of the building.

Officers also discovered evidence that the electricity supply had been illegally bypassed.
Each plant is believed to have a street value of approximately £840, meaning the haul could be worth more than £400,000 when sold on the street.
No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.
The arrests form part of Operation Warrior, Lancashire Police’s ongoing crackdown on serious and organised crime across the county, supported by Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.
The operation targets individuals and organised crime groups involved in offences such as large-scale drug supply, violence, exploitation and fraud - crimes which police say can cause significant harm to local communities.
Anyone with information about the cannabis grow is asked to email [email protected] or call 101, quoting log number 0448 of December 15.
