Brothers attacked outside Leyland pub

Three men and a woman have been arrested after two brothers were attacked at a Leyland pub.

An 18-year-old, from Leyland, was punched and kicked and he needed hospital treatment for a fractured cheek and bruising to the head.

His 22-year-old brother was also punched and sustained a suspected fractured hand during the attack.

Police are now appealing for witnesses following the assault outside the Black Bull pub.

The incident happened at around 11pm on Saturday, November 29 on School Lane, Leyland.

It is believed that an altercation took place between a number of men outside the pub.

DC Karen Johnson, from Skelmersdale CID, said: “This was a nasty attack and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have been at the Black Bull pub on the Saturday evening and witnessed what happened outside.”

Three men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been bailed until January.
