Arrests made after car was reported stolen
Several men have been arrested and taken to Blackpool police cells after being spotted driving on the motorway in a car reported as being stolen.
The vehicle was sighted heading north on the M6 at Forton yesterday evening.
The vehicle had been reported as stolen in the Manchester area and traced within an hour of that report.
Following a pursuit by Lancashire Police’s road division, all occupants were arrested and housed at Blackpool custody, pending further investigations.
