Police are appealing for help to trace a wanted man who can dramatically change his appearance and may be in the Blackburn area.

Leon Stanley, 47, is wanted on recall to prison.

He is believed to have links to Mill Hill in Blackburn, as well as Ossett and Wakefield in West Yorkshire.

Stanley is described as around 5ft 9in tall, with blue eyes and brown hair.

Officers say he is known to change “his appearance”, switching between being clean shaven and having a full, bushy beard.

Two images released by police show the stark difference in how he can look.

Lancashire Police are urging anyone who sees Stanley, or who has information about where he might be, to get in touch.

Information can be emailed to [email protected] or passed on by calling 101, quoting log 0326 of May 21.
