APPEAL: Police search after bike theft in Chorley

Police are appealing for help after a bike was stolen from a Lancashire village.

The blue Trek mountain bike was stolen from Danesway, Heath Charnock in Chorley.

It was taken from a garage between 5.30pm and 5.50pm on Sunday.

A male was also seen hanging around on the estate, which is at the bottom of the road, at the time of the theft.

The male is described as being white, 5ft 10ins tall, wearing a tracksuit and trainers.

Police said he also had a small dog with him which has been described as brown and a pitbull type.
