Hundreds of people turned out to watch as a double anniversary was celebrated in stirring style in Preston.
The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment marched through the city to celebrate 100 years since the unveiling of the Preston Cenotaph War Memorial, and the 20th anniversary of the regiment’s formation.
After the march along Fishergate, the celebrations centred on the Flag Market adjacent to the war memorial as crowds galore looked on.
