Engineers have now installed the ride’s giant gondola, marking one of the most visually striking milestones yet in the build of the £8.72m mega attraction and signalling a major step forward in the project.
Alongside this, structural work has begun on the ride’s station, with steel frameworks now emerging on site as the foundations for the loading area and surrounding infrastructure are put in place.
With the pendulum now in position and more elements continuing to arrive, Aviktas is rapidly reshaping the park - and the wider Blackpool skyline - ahead of its planned 2026 opening.
