10 places in Lancashire where kids can eat for free or for just £1 this summer holiday

With many families looking for budget-friendly ways to eat out, a number of popular restaurants, shops and supermarkets across Lancashire are offering kids means for free or just £1.

These are some of the deals running throughout the holidays:

Asda

The supermarket giant has confirmed that kids can eat a meal deal in their cafes for £1 all year round;

Burger King

From July 23 till the end of August, Burger King is offering a free King Jr. Meal available with the purchase of any adult meal through the Burger King app. The offer also includes the Whopper Jr. for the first time ever.

Morrisons

Children under 16 can get a free kids’ meal, including a drink, with every adult main meal purchased over £5. The kids menu includes: Birds Eye Chicken Dippers, Birds Eye Fish Fingers, Birds Eye Green Cuisine Veggie Fingers or Goodfella’s Mini 4 Cheese Pizza and any kids drink – which would usually be £4.00 each. The offer is also available on the Kids Pick n Mix meal deal from the fridge.

This offer is valid all day, every day, including the summer holidays.

Pausa Cafe @ Dunelm

For every £4 an adult spends, a child receives a free main, two snacks, and a drink.

The deal is available at all Pausa Cafe locations all day, every day during the summer break.

Premier Inn

Up to two children under 16 can eat breakfast for free at Premier Inn when one full-paying adult purchases a full "Premier Inn Breakfast". This applies whether you are staying overnight or just dropping in as a non-guest.

Tesco

Tesco is extending its Kids Eat Free scheme to include weekends for the first time this summer, running in more than 330 participating Tesco stores from June 25 till September 1.

The Café and The Coffee Shop in Tesco will be offering one free Kids Hot Meal Deal, Kids Breakfast or Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix deal with any full price adult purchase when they scan their Tesco Clubcard. The adult purchase could be something as small as an apple costing just 65p. And with no limit to the number of Kid’s meals you can redeem, families of all sizes can benefit too.

Turtle Bay

For every adult who spends at least £15 on the main menu, one child, aged 10 and under, can claim a free meal from the Little Turtles menu.

This offer is available all week throughout the summer break.

Hungry Horse

Kids eat for 88p from July 20 to August 28 with every adult main meal. The kids meals include a main, a drink and dessert.

Dobbies Garden Centre

As part of the Government's Great British Summer Savings scheme, children can enjoy a breakfast for just 88p with any adult Traditional or Full Breakfast. Alternatively, enjoy a child's hot meal or Pick 'n' Mix Lunch Box for just 88p with any adult main course.

This offer is available from June 25 to September 1 and includes a free child's drink.

Harvester

At all Harvester locations, kids can eat for £1 from the Kids Main and Breakfast Menu when an adult main is ordered.

The offer available every day in the summer holidays until September 4. 2026. Every kids' meal also comes with an unlimited salad.
