Teenagers Morgan and Hannah are flying high for Team UK in Japan
Cream of the crop Morgan Allen, 13, and Hannah Skyner, 12, will be jetting off to Japan in November to compete against cheerleading squads from all over the world at the Cheerleading World Championships.
Hannah, who only started cheerleading in May, said: “It’s just an amazing opportunity, To go and represent the UK in the sport is amazing.”

Hide AdCommenting on her reaction to discovering she had been selected, Morgan, who has competed in regional, national and European competitions, said: “I was just really shocked. It’s a dream come true.”
Morgan and Hannah are part of Infinity Squad in Burnley and go to practice sessions for their tumbling and flexibility at least three times a week.
They are ‘flyers,’ which means that they are thrown into the air to perform their stunts.
“It’s quite daunting when you think about things that could happen,” said Hannah. “But you have to learn to trust people.”
Hannah’s parents are “over the moon” with her success.

Hide AdHer mum Vicky said: “To get to this level in such a short period of time is incredible. I’m not sure who she takes after.”
Morgan’s mum Katherine said: “This opportunity makes all the tears injuries and determination long hours week nights weekends training worth every second. I could not be prouder of Morgan for getting to this point and may it continue and may she keep developing.”
