Learn how to program a robot or try 3D printing at family-friendly tech and maker festival in Lancaster

Tech Lancaster is hosting a fun, family-focused tech and maker STEAM festival (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) next month.

This is a brand new, hands-on event suitable for adults and children aged 6+, where attendees can get the chance to learn how to program robots with Micro:bits, try 3D printing, explore electronics with crafting, and tackle interactive engineering challenges with tech entertainers and the Trap the Thief challenge.

Hosted in the Storey Gallery in Lancaster, the event will also give attendees the ability to learn more about innovation and creativity in the Lancaster district across the past, present and future – showcasing the current exciting technology and innovation ecosystem that is helping to drive Lancaster's economy forward for future generations.
