Team GB medallist Anyika Onuora will be on hand to cut the ribbon at 8am and will be giving away complimentary bags of fresh fruit and vegetables from Aldi’s famous Super 6 range to the first 30 customers.
The store will be run by manager Tony Breen, along with a team of 35 colleagues from the local community.
Tony said: “We can’t wait to open the doors to the new store in Tarleton. It’s set to be a special day and having Olympic hero Anyika Onuora join us will make it a morning to remember.”
During the building process, there has been significant roadwork delays in the local area, affecting people commuting between Preston, Southport, Rufford, Tarleton, Hesketh Bank, Buscough and Ormskirk.
