Well, a new tool by home sales company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since early 2016 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the PR5, PR25 and PR26 postcodes.
With streets in Croston and Bretherton among the priciest, the data makes for interesting reading.

The average sale price is £464,333. The main stretch through the small village
6. Marl Cop, Bretherton
Average sale price is £458,100. Off South Road in the village comes the second Bretherton spot
7. Southport Road, Leyland
Average sale price is £451,600. A prominent stretch which passes Leyland Garden Centre and The Rose and Crown among others.
8. Beechfield Road, Leyland
Average sale price is £432,187. Off Church Road, a prime residential spot
