Prepare for a feast which is fit for the faddiest foodie

Foodies are in for a real treat this weekend with a feast at the Marine Hall.

The Fylde Coast Food and Drink Festival is back at the Fleetwood venue on Sunday, August 14.

Head down between 10am and 4pm for a delicious day out for all the family.

There’s everything a foodie could wish for including cheeses, chutneys, cakes, chocolates, jams, pies, puddings and much more.

There will also be some tempting wines to try and buy, delicious ciders, specialist coffees, traditional teas and some delicious fruity liqueurs on sale.

Plus, tasty street food – from paella to pulled pork and polish sausage – will be cooking outside.

Chefs from Twelve Restaurant will be hosting cooking demonstrations on stage throughout the day.

Find out how to create a tasty starter, impressive main course and perfect pudding.

They will be using the best of Lancashire ingredients to showcase dishes and will also be taking questions from the audience. .

There is plenty for younger visitors to enjoy too including pizza making, cupcake and gingerbread decorating, mask making and quizzes.

Janet Heald, events and front of house manager at Marine Hall, said: “The food festival is a real highlight in the Marine Hall calendar for us now. We are delighted to welcome back exhibitors year after year and to introduce new businesses to the event.

“We’re hoping for a great turn out again, it’s nice to bring new people into Marine Hall and shout about what have to offer. Thornton Cleveleys Brass Band will be back, serenading visitors with their much loved renditions of well-known songs and brass band classics.
