Leyland cafe the Pantry in Hough Lane to close for two weeks for refurbishment
A Leyland cafe will close for two weeks for refurbishment before reopening with a revamped menu.
The Pantry in Hough Lane will close from Wednesday, February 11 until Wednesday, February 25.
The community-focused, family-friendly cafe said it will be temporarily closed while work takes place on a “little refresh and some fun changes”.
Holly and Steven Nicholson-Wrigley opened the doors to the Pantry five years ago in October 2021, and the cafe swiftly became a popular spot for those with young children.
They will spend the next fortnight revamping the cafe with “a few small tweaks” - including a new layout and menu.
Posting on Facebook, they said: “Now in year five of The Pantry, we’re taking the moment to do a little refresh, re-focus and make a few small tweaks.
“What’s the plan? Some additions and changes to our menu, plus some cool changes to our layout.
“What’s staying the same? Us. We’ll always stay family-friendly and community-minded with a focus on proper coffee and great things to eat.
“Anything new? Yep. More cakes and sweet treats, loyalty cards, weekday offers, plus a few other awesome additions.”
