Lancashire piemakers shine at British Pie Awards 2026 - see the local winners

Several fantastic Lancashire piemakers have been celebrated at the 18th edition of the British Pie Awards.

Taking place on Friday (March 6) - during British Pie Week - the British Pie Awards honour the most delectable pies across the nation, ranging from classic British staples to bold, inventive, and even eccentric creations.

The competition features a range of distinct categories, judged by industry experts, chefs, food critics, and passionate pie lovers.

While Baldy’s Pies in Wigan was crowned Supreme Champion for its ‘Baldy’s Chicken Kiev’ pie, multiple Lancashire piemakers have also been celebrated across a range of categories.
