5. Swimming facilities
A lot of you just want to see more choice after recent controversy over pricing - with one suggestion even for an outdoor heated option. Given the Lancashire climbs, the emphasis would be on the word heated...
Sticking with the water theme we had a suggestion for a water sports centre down on the docks, which has already been outlined in the Phoenix Park plan, as well as adding bars and restaurants. Other areas have certainly seen major benefits from marina developments.
Whether just for Christmas, or a more permanent fixture, you want the chance to skate in the city. This writer and his young family enjoyed the one in nearby Chorley as part of their Winter Wonderland.
