However, for a multitude of reasons, not all parents feel like they got it right. A new survey by Gigacalculator has revealed that some parents rather regret their choice of name. These are the top 10 names that parents regret most naming their child.

There are many reasons that a parent might regret their name of choice. 32 per cent of parents who named their child Hunter said they later regretted it
73 per cent of parents surveyed said they thought of a better name after they’d already made it official. 35 per cent of parents who named their child Aurora said they later regretted it

30 per cent of parents admitted to not giving their children's name enough thought. 29 per cent of parents who named their child Jaxon said they later regretted it
Other parents said they regretted the name because a friend chose the same name for their child. 32 per cent of parents who named their child Arabella said they later regretted it
