Crowds flocked to the annual Christmas lights’ switch on, which was a fun and festive affair with a host of entertainment, including singer Gavin Young, Rodeo Duo line dancing group, a magic show, Burnley’s Suco Samba drummers and a ‘Frozen’ sing-a-long.

Father Christmas delighted the children when he arrived to switch on the lights and there was also a funfair and festive market. The night was rounded off with a spectacular firework display. Here is a gallery of fantastic images from the night.
