UPDATE: M65 sliproad works after crash

A motorway sliproad has now reopened after police cleared away crash debris.

The sliproad and one lane of the M65 were closed after the two-car crash earlier today.

Police advised drivers to find an alternative route as traffic built up in the area.

Officers from Lancashire's roads policing team and Highways England have now cleared the crash site and the onslip road at junction 7 of the M65 westbound, near Rishton, has reopened.
