Busy Preston road to shut overnight

Contractors are set to move into Strand Road on Tuesday evening to resurface the carriageway between its junction with Fishergate Hill and the Guild Way flyover.
And although it is only anticipated the road will have to be closed for three nights, Lancashire County Council has made a temporary prohibition of traffic order between 8pm and 6am from August 22 and Saturday September 30 to allow surface dressing to take place.
