Leyland Warriors hosted a rugby league tournament with 10 secondary schools taking part. It was the second year Warriors have run this event in an endeavour to promote the game in the area and to encourage teachers to include it on the school sports timetable. Scores of aspiring young athletes had an extra day of school at the weekend for a very special lesson.
