A popular children's play slide is being moved by council bosses because of a peeping Toms row. Householders say curious youngsters are spying into their bedrooms from a new helter skelter erected on a new part of Mill Lane Park in Fulwood. A village sports centre has banished half-term boredom for hundreds of local children. A "get your skates on" invitation had the youngsters flocking to the Clayton Green Sports Centre, near Chorley, for a roller disco. A group of enterprising youngsters from a Preston youth club are planning to set themselves on fire... with their do-it-yourself dance routine. Girls from Fulwood Catholic Youth Club have formed their own dance troupe, and with help from their 20-year-old leader, Paula McDonagh, they are aiming for the top in the disco dancing world.
