25. Preston Schools and Clubs in 1978
Preston Schoolboys Under 15 side, who defeated Lancaster and Morecambe Under 15s by 7-0, with striker Marlow hitting a second half hat-trick. For the second successive year Kettering's Tony Kearns won the annual Milk Marathon - a 26-mile 385 yards long road race from Preston to Morecambe. Organised by Lancaster and Morecambe Athletic Club, the race is sponsored by Morecambe and Heysham Dairy Festival. Photo: RETRO
