5. Ranvir Singh
Ranvir Singh is a Lancashire-born journalist, best known for her presenting roles on ITV Breakfast programmes Daybreak and Good Morning Britain. She was educated at Kirkham Grammar School and graduated from the University of Lancaster with a degree in English and Philosophy. 7. Preston Women's Committee
In 1914 a Preston Women’s Committee, led by its President Anna Marie Cartmell (wife of the Mayor, Harry Cartmell), founded Preston Station Buffet which fed millions of soldiers from 1915 – 1919 as they passed through Preston Railway Station.
