Village's annual Children's Festival returns
This years Churchtown & District Children's Festival will take place on Saturday, May 28.
The festival procession will leave Kirkland Memorial hall field at 1pm & make it's way to St Helen's Church where Rev Andrew Wilkinson will give a short service.
The procession will then return to the field for the crowning ceremony.
Festival Queen this year is Imogen White
Imogen, 11, and attends St Helen's Primary school.
There will be plenty of fun for all throughout the afternoon including a tombola, games, races and fairground rides.
