SPAR City of Preston 10K race: When is it, where will it start and what is the route?

More than 1,000 runners are expected to hit the streets next month for the SPAR City of Preston 10K.

The buzzing event delivered by health charity Running Bee Foundation will take place on Sunday, September 25, starting and finishing in the historic Flag Market where the athletes’ village will be located.

People of all ages can also take part in MyFirst™ Mile by completing one mile, whether they run, walk or jog.

All finishers will receive a commemorative medal and T-shirt, and the race includes official chip timing, route markers at every kilometre, and a fully marshalled route taking in Preston’s picturesque Avenham Park.
